The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
